J Madden spent 28 years in commercial real estate development and has shifted his attention to his role as the owner of JAG Management Group that manages and operates Greenwood Athletic and Tennis Club. J Madden developed and founded Greenwood Athletic Club, which opened July 1, 1987 and has been recognized as a leader in the athletic club industry since. JAG Management Group retains over 200 full and part-time employee’s including a management team that is among the best in the industry. Our focus remains directed on membership satisfaction, membership retention, advancing the message of health and fitness in our community and maintaining our role as the clear market leader in full service athletic clubs. Paula began her employment at GATC in October 2002 and was hired on as the General Manager in July 2003. Paula received her BS degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Nebraska and comes with 23 years experience in the fitness industry, working in various capacities from group exercise instructor to business developer and strategic planner. She built numerous facilities while residing in southern California including medically based fitness centers, Pilates studios and a 16,000 square foot health and fitness center designed solely for kids. Paula and her husband Keith have been married for over 16 years and they have three children; Tatum (13), Cal (10) and Kasey (8).

Craig graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Degree in Economics. Craig joined GATC in October 1995 and has over 16 years experience in human resources, personnel and payroll practices. He has been a member of the Society For Human Resources Management and the Employee Benefits Advisory Council. Craig has been married for over 17 years to Beth and they have a 7 year old daughter, Lindsay, and a 1 year old son, Joshua.

Dan began employment with GATC in November 2005 after ten years in the software and telecommunications industry. Dan is a graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a concentration in Financial Accounting. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1995 and a member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants since 1997. Dan enjoys road and mountain biking, skiing, running, swimming and anything else that could be considered a workout.

After teaching classes at GATC for over 15 years and serving as Director of Group Exercise on two separate occasions, Barbara was promoted to the position of Assistant General Manager in May 2007. She assists and oversees four department managers, concentrating on improving the level of service we provide to our members. She is certified in Group Exercise, Personal Training, Lifestyle and Weight Management and Indoor Cycling. She shares her home with her husband of 27 years, Steve, 2 dogs and 1 cat. Her son Travis’ life revolves around a very large, black Jeep named Kong. Stop by her office…she’s always happy to share photos!

Tiffany started working at GATC in February 2006. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, with a double minor in Communications and Women's Studies. Tiffany has held membership and sales positions in multiple health clubs and has an excellent background in local and national marketing and public relations. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise and a Lifestyle & Weight Managment Consultant.

Ron has been teaching tennis full-time for over 24 years and has been at Greenwood Tennis Club since it opened, over 14 years ago. Ron was named the USPTA Intermountain Division's 2008 Facility Manager of the Year. He has previously been named the USPTA Intermountain's six state region 2006 Facility Manager, 2001 Professional of the Year and the 2002 and 2004 Certification Tester of the Year. Ron and his wife Laura have two children, Quinn 21 and Layne 17.

Larry was recently married to Adriana, another GATC team member. He comes from a large family with two brothers and four sisters. Sara Talbert - Director of Pilates x375

Sara started working at GATC in October 1998, has been a Pilates Instructor for the past 10 years and was one of the first instructors teaching Pilates at GATC. Sara is also a teacher trainer for Peak Pilates. She received her degree in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Along with her certification in Pilates, Sara is Spin certified and is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning specialist. Sara is married to Joe (GATC Personal Trainer) and they have two daughters: Juliana (5) and Evie (3) and an infant son Jacob Josef (J.J.) born September 14th.

Vic has been at GATC since August 2003. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Wellness from the University of South Florida and has been working in the fitness field since 1994. Vic is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a Corrective Exercise Specialist. He is also an avid martial artist and is an instructor in several different disciplines. Vic has lived in Colorado since 2001 with his wife Amy and they have a baby boy, Victor Anthony Spatola Jr., born July 14th.

Katie joined GATC in February 2008 with many years of successful, competitive swimming and coaching experience from the high school, collegiate and master's levels. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Education in Community Health, and was an All-American on the UNL collegiate swim team. Katie was also honored with the award of Academic All-Big Eight Swim Team. In addition to her involvement in the aquatics industry, Katie owned and operated her own massage and wellness therapy business in the Denver area for over 8 years. She attended the Colorado School of Healing Arts and has held Certificates in Massage Therapy and Sports Massage Therapy.

Jane is the new kid on the block, having joined GATC in November 2009. Jane graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Recreation Management. She left college as a scholarship swimmer and has stayed active ever since. Jane comes with over 20 years experience in the Fitness Industry and 15 years experience as a Group Fitness Leader. She had been married for 12 years to Arnie and has three children: Morgan (19), Derek (12) and Sophia (10).
